The Abia State government has assured participants of the upcoming Aba International Trade Fair of their safety throughout the event. At a press conference in Umuahia, Deputy Governor Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu emphasized that round-the-clock surveillance will be implemented to secure both the trade fair venue and the surrounding areas.
In partnership with national and local security agencies, the government plans to deploy security personnel and infrastructure to protect the participants, their businesses, and critical infrastructure at the fair.
Organized by the Abia State Government and the Aba Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (ACCIMA), the fair is set to attract a wide range of participants, including over 50 embassies, 35 Nigerian states, and more than 300 businesses. The event will showcase manufacturers, importers, service providers, and industrialists, highlighting the creative and industrious spirit of Aba.
