Former CIBN President, Others to Grace Imo Day Celebration

The former president of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Ken Opara, along with other prominent figures, is set to attend the Imo Day celebration organized by the Imo Improvement Association in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos.

According to a recent statement, other notable guests expected at the event include the founder of Chisco Group, Chidi Anyaegbu; the CEO of Airpeace Nigeria, Allen Onyema; and the Onibeju of Ibeju Land and Chairman of Obas and Chiefs in Ibeju-Lekki, Rasaki Olasunkanmi.

This event, the first of its kind by an Igbo community in Ibeju-Lekki, will bring together Imo State natives and their families from the area and beyond. Attendees will proudly showcase their vibrant cultural heritage in an atmosphere of celebration and excitement.

The keynote address will be delivered by Uche Agbarakwe, the founder of Allied Vytex Nigeria Limited.

The Imo Day celebration, an initiative of the Imo Improvement Association, aims to provide a platform for Imo indigenes to unwind, celebrate their culture, and engage with their host communities. The event seeks to foster unity, peace, and socio-economic development among various ethnic groups in Ibeju-Lekki and Lagos State as a whole.
