With funds allocated from the Federation Account, the SEDC will focus on:
- Reconstruction and rehabilitation of roads and houses
- Addressing ecological problems and environmental challenges
- Tackling developmental challenges in Abia, Imo, Enugu, Anambra, and Ebonyi states
