“Abia State to have its Dependable Source of Power Supply”, this statement was made by the Governor of Abia State through one of its social Media Handle.
However, Alex Otti, the Governor of Abia State has said Aba will be self-sufficiently powered through the Geometric Power Limited’s power plant in one or two months.
Otti publicly made this announcement on Tuesday stating through his Official Twitter handle when the Chairman of Geometric Power Limited, Prof Bartholomew Nnaji, ex Minister of Power and his crew paid him a courtesy visit.

Gov Otti expounded delight that Aba will soon have a dependable power supply.
He made an official statement that the State and GPL is in declamation with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited to resolve the gas Supply issue.
Currently the state buys its power from the National Grid that is why power supply is not reliable, we urge all citizens of Aba that soon all this will be history.
“The turbines to power the electricity plant, which were taken abroad for maintenance, have been brought back to the plant and reinstalled.
” There is an ongoing functioning of we and NNPC to get the gas supply issue to the plant back in track, he said.
As a reported by DAILY POST the Geometric Power Aba Limited, is located in Alaoji Aba, which is anticipated to add 188 megawatts to Nigeria’s electricity output.
